Our mission is to champion vetted non-profit organizations that tackle critical societal challenges through programs rooted in best practices and ethical standards. In instances where we encounter gaps or are unable to identify an organization capable of addressing a specific need, we are committed to stepping in. Using our own resources, we will attempt to establish new initiatives to ensure that essential problems are met with innovative and effective solutions.
Tango 3 believes the children of the world are the key to a brighter, more compassionate future. By investing in their well-being, education, and development, we can empower the next generation to overcome challenges and create lasting positive change. Through our support of vetted charities like Toys for Tots, we aim to provide essential resources that uplift children, giving them the foundation they need to thrive and succeed in life.
Tango 3 believes veterans are the backbone of our nation’s strength and freedom. By supporting programs that honor their sacrifices and help them successfully transition back into civilian life, we aim to provide essential resources that address their unique challenges. Our goal is to ensure veterans have the support they need to lead fulfilling, empowered lives after their service, reinforcing our commitment to those who have bravely served our country.
Tango 3 believes the elderly are the guardians of wisdom and the storytellers of our past. Their experiences and lessons shape the generations to come, and by supporting programs that uplift and care for the elderly, we honor their invaluable contributions. Through our efforts, we seek to preserve their stories and ensure they receive the respect, care, and dignity they deserve, allowing their legacies to inspire future generations.
At Tango3.org, 100% of your donation goes directly to the vetted charities we support. Every dollar you give makes a direct impact, helping those in need without any deductions for overhead or administrative costs.
Gerald has dedicated the majority of his adult life to working with nonprofit organizations, with a focus on supporting veterans and underserved communities. His efforts have been particularly notable through his involvement in the US Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program, the Marine Corps League, Kiwanis, the American Red Cross, and various other initiatives.
The idea for Tango3.org was sparked during a conversation with a colleague about the success of platforms built for hospitals, universities, and state institutions to improve patient outcomes. It was in this moment that Gerald realized such a platform could be adapted to address suicide prevention and mental health programs for veterans.
This realization led to countless hours of meetings with Senators, congressmen, VA officials, and even a formal proposal submitted to the VA through a congressman’s office under President Trump’s veteran suicide prevention initiative, PREVENTS. However, the recurring challenge was always the same: “This is what we’ve been looking for, but how do we fund it?”
Frustrated by bureaucratic delays, Gerald decided to take matters into his own hands by raising the necessary funds independently. Understanding the importance of not diverting resources from existing charities he supported, he sought alternative ways to generate capital. During this time, while raising money for a military family day event, Gerald connected with Wayne and Michelle Johnson, fifth-generation cattle ranchers and owners of Dove Creek Wagyu Cattle Company. Together, they developed a program where profits from their premium Akaushi Wagyu beef jerky would support vetted veteran programs and fund the veteran suicide-prevention platform.
Recognizing the need for a legitimate 501(c)(3) nonprofit to facilitate these efforts, Gerald founded Tango3.org. This organization not only formalized the work he had been doing for decades but also allowed him to bring his vast experience and charitable partnerships under one umbrella, with the veteran jerky project serving as the first initiative in collaboration with Wayne and Michelle Johnson.

We believe in destiny and we believe that our destiny is to bring smiles to all. And when there are others who want to do the same, the satisfaction is even greater!!!

"...until Gerald (Tango3.org) shared these real world stories with us, we had never truly stopped to think about the horrifying facts of suicide. We learned that for members of a suicide victim’s immediate family & social circle suicide becomes a more likely outcome for their lives as a result of the original act. We also learned that each suicide affects well over 100 people directly."
"There is lots of talk about reducing or stopping veteran suicides. Tango3 and Americas Best Beef Jerky do more than talk, partnering to raise funds by selling very high quality beef jerky. They seek to help soldiers and veterans in a truly meaning way and funds go directly where needed!"
"Any organization that devotes time, talent or treasure to those who have served our nation has my support. The Airborne Angler is proud to partner with Tango3 to ensure veteran resources they need to complete their missions."
"Tango3 has been a favorite amongst our veterans and crew of Operation Black Sheep. It's the absolute best jerky out there that truly gives back to veterans and community. We're both thankful and proud to Tango3 supports us and those who served our country."
